Mr. Hall is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the California State Board of Legal Specialization.
He started his private practice in 1992 and represents clients with wide ranges of net worth and from many backgrounds.
Before beginning this private practice he was a tax partner in the San Francisco office of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers)
a national CPA firm.
Mr. Hall has spoken on estate planning and tax related topics to many different groups including groups of attorneys and CPAs, etc. He is the past president of the Eastern Alameda County Bar Association and the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council. He holds a degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and received his law degree from the University of Houston. In addition to his law degree and license to practice law in the state of California, he has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the state of Texas.
Dan and his wife, Kathlyn, are long time Pleasanton residents and each of their 6 children are graduates of the Pleasanton school system.
Kathlyn is a paralegal and the office manager for the firm. She received her paralegal certificate from California State University, Hayward (1999) and holds a BS Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. She joined the firm in 1999 following 10 years with Wells Fargo Bank.
In 2006, Christine joined our firm as a paralegal. She plays an essential role in our estate planning, trust administration and probate practices.
Christine received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Saint Mary’s College of California. She also earned an A.B.A. (American Bar Approved) Paralegal Certificate from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Christine began her legal career as a legal assistant and office manager of a small law firm specializing in family law, estate planning and probate, in 2003.
Helen started with our office as a Legal Assistant in November 2004. Prior to that time, she worked for an estate planning attorney in Danville.
Helen has a previous 15-year career as a student housing administrator at two local universities. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Santa Clara University and a Master's Degree from San Jose State University.
Ms. Leach is a California CPA with national, regional and local public accounting experience. She is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (1977) and received her CPA license in 1980.
Ms. Leach joined Dan Hall’s practice in 2006 and assists primarily with client trust accountings and tax agency filing requirements. In addition, she continues her passion for community service by volunteering primarily in areas that benefit the children of Pleasanton.
